Anchored Walls was founded in 1978 by Larry Utsler, who recognized a growing need for stabilizing basement walls through his excavation company, C&L Construction. That insight led to the creation of Anchored Walls and one of the first professionally installed Wall Anchors in Iowa.
Larry partnered with a local business to develop an early Anchor system that helped shape the foundation repair industry in the region. In 2010, Anchored Walls joined forces with SafeBasements for production means and to expand our offered services through the purchase of their proprietary products.
Though the tools and technology have advanced over time, our values remain rooted in honest service and quality work for every Iowa home.
